Elizabeth Olsen

KimAmerican actress Elizabeth Chase Olsen, born on 16 February 1989, is Elizabeth Chase Olsen. Olsen was born in Sherman Oaks, California. She began acting when she was four years old. She made her debut film part in the thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene in 2011. The film was acclaimed and nominated for Critics' Choice Award in addition to other awards. This was following which she starred in the film horror Silent House. Olsen was awarded a BAFTA Rising Star Award nomination and was a graduate of New York University two years later. Olsen has gained international recognition for her portrayal of Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch in the Marvel Cinematic Universe media franchise as she appeared in the films of superheroes Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Captain America: Civil War (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018), Avengers: Endgame (2019) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), and the miniseries WandaVision (2021). Her performance in WandaVision garnered her nominations for the Primetime Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award.Outside of her roles with Marvel, Olsen starred in the monster film Godzilla (2014) and the mystery film Wind River (2017), and the drama Ingrid Goes West (2017). She was executive producer of and performed in Sorry for Your Loss (2018-19), receiving a Critics' Choice Television Award nomination.
