Lowell began acting in Dangerously Close, followed by an appearance in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. She played the role of Bond girl Pam Bouvier (1989) and Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross (1996-1996). She was a regular on Law & Order's spinoff Law & Order Trial by Jury in 2005 before appearing again on the original series in 2022.
