Amy Smart, an American model and actress from the United States. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. In 1996 she debuted as a actress in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. After that, she was a star in a small role in the film Starship Troopers she struggled very difficult. This was not easy for Amy because she had to move from modelling into acting. Models aren't thought of as great actors so they tend to be given smaller roles that aren't very important. Yet, somehow Amy refused to give up and stepped into larger roles, beginning with the series The 70s and the film Varsity Blues. Amy was then promoted to lead roles in the romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy achieved the fame she had been searching for for more than 10 years, when her movie, Just Friends was released. The actress continued to appear in major films, such as Crank alongside Jason Statham or Shameless in which she became a cherished recurring role.
